Check in / check out

Check In and Check Out are simple ways for teams to start and end a process, symbolically and in a collaborative way. It can be used as a starter of the day or by marking the beginning of a project. It invites each member in the team to be present, seen and heard, and provides time to express reflection or a feeling. Checking in emphasises the focus and commitment of the group or team; checking out emphasises reflection and closure.
